world-class salsa stars meet from all around
the world. Three days of non-stopping
activities including beginner crash course,
workshops for all levels, stage shows, salsa
competition and endless parties. As we go
into the third year of Salsa Jam with higher
experience and inspiration the previous
festivals, we are raising the bar on the
level of dance entertainment this year. Our
goal is to attract everyone from all
backgrounds & levels to share the passion of
dancing with us.This is an amazing
opportunity for you to take advantage of
professional instructors get into salsa or
even boost your level. We are inviting
everyone to the biggest Salsa weekend to
experience the magic of salsa under the

a lo largo y ancho de la isla y
sobretodo, que todos se diviertan a

The main
team of Salsa Jam organizers are Mehmet Aslan ( DJ
Salsero ), Eldem Albayrak, Özdemir Tokel. First
Salsa Jam was co-founded back in 2006 by DJ Salsero.
After travelling around Europe and Australia DJ
Salsero developed a strong background of Salsa music
& dancing and he experienced the lack of
international Salsa festivals within the island
which brought the very first idea of Salsa Jam in
order to spread this latin culture. There was a huge
interest in the first Salsa Jam from the salsa
enthusiasts all around the island. The first Salsa
Jam had the privieleged support of Mundo Latino
dance company from Turkey as well as local
professionals from all around Cyprus. This success
gave birth to 2nd Annual Salsa Jam which turned this
festival into a traditional salsa weekend. This
doubled the number of professional dancers for the
2nd Salsa Jam shows and local salsa dancers
population. |

Mehmet Aslan ( DJ Salsero ) started to
spread the culture by organizing parties, giving
salsa classes & workshops and finally co-founding
the Salsa Jam after years of latin djing. For more

Eldem Albayrak started dancing in San
Diego-USA where she joined Majesty in Motion dance
company and learned Salsa dancing from the finest
instructors in USA. Later on she appeared on various
shows all around the states. Working with different
professionals gave her the advantage of learning
variety of salsa styles including LA ( Los Angeles )
and NY ( New York ) salsa. After coming back to
Cyprus, she joined Los Rumberos ( La Excelencia )
dance company where she appeared on the most
pretigious salsa shows including Cyprus Salsa
Congress. |

Özdemir Tokel who is the developer of
Salsa Jam in Cyprus 2008 is a professional
Marketing & PR Specialist,
web developer and graphic designer who marketed
this event and also contributed in organizing to
turn 3rd Salsa Jam into a reality. Özdemir Tokel is
also
the founder and the director of T-Medya
Publising and Advertising Company which is one of the
biggest advertising companies in North Cyprus ... For
